The Study Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House in Vancouver, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The Study Club is a casual monthly meet-up focused on sharing ideas and discussing current issues related to hearing voices and other unique sensory experiences and beliefs. The group is drop-in and open to everyone, including supporters/allies. We also provide plenty of snacks!

You can now also attend the Study Club virtually! For the Zoom link, please email Anne at studyclub@bchvn.ca.

The Study Club aims to respect everyone as the expert on their own experiences and to value the many diverse perspectives group members bring to the discussion. Past topics have included: living with and without medication, life after hospitalization, the social contexts of hearing voices, the history of psychiatry, spiritual perspectives, and more! Please note that this is a discussion group, not a support group. You can stay up to date on upcoming Study Club topics and activities (like watching videos/webinars) by joining the BCHVN mailing list.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and more information about the space can be found on the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House website. Free transit tickets are available for those in need. For any other questions, please email us at studyclub@bchvn.ca or call 778-650-6916. You can also use our contact form.
